Judy Ann Guffey Coffey, 52, of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday, July 22, 2008.

A native of Athens, she was a daughter of Sue Hafley Guffey of Athens, and the late Johnny Boyd Guffey. She was a member of the Church of God and was a legal secretary with the Department of Human Services, and with Smith and Sellers Law Firm. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Anastasia Rae Coffey, who died in 2002.

She is loved and will be missed by her husband, Ronnie Charles Coffey; her mother, Sue Hafley Guffey of Athens; three sons, Jonathan Shane Coffey, Heath Wesley Coffey and his fiancée, Dianne Johnson, and Aaron Matthew Coffey, all of Murfreesboro; two sisters and brothers-in-law, DeLane Howard and her husband, Delane, of Riceville, and Crystal Yanculeff and her husband, Christo, of Athens; and eight grandchildren, Christian, Dillan, Hayley, Kaitlyn, Emily and Jacob Coffey, and Austin and Logan Johnson.

Memorial services will be 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Ron Anderson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Woodfin Memorial Chapel of Murfreesboro is in charge of arrangements.
