Kim Edward Roberts

Kim Edward Roberts, 70, of Clarksville, and formerly of Ten Mile, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

A native of Meigs County, and a resident of Clarksville for 1 1/2 years, he was a son of the late Alfred Lou and Annie Powers Roberts, and was preceded in death by four brothers, James W., Chester S., Albert A. and Ernest E. Roberts; and two sisters, Sarah Robinson and Mary Kindred. He was a member of Ten Mile Holiness Church.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Ivy Brown Roberts of Clarksville; one son, Mark Roberts of Clarksville; three grandchildren, Rachel Roberts of Charlotte, N.C., and Kimberly and Katelin Roberts, both of Decatur; two sisters, Percilla Lombard and husband, Don, of Harriman, and Mae McClosky of Xenia, Ohio; one brother, Taylor M. Roberts and wife, Lela Mae, of Fort Payne, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ten Mile Holiness Church with Pastor Lawrence Waller officiating. Burial will follow in Roberts Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Forest, Frank, John and Brad Brown, Eddie Roberts and Don Woods.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
